بدأت شركة طيران الجزيرة الكويتية استلام طائرات الجيل الجديد من إيرباص أي320، ليزيد عدد أسطولها التشغيلي إلى ست طائرات من أصل طلبية الشراء البالغة 40 طائرة.وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا) نقلا عن رئيس مجلس الإدارة الرئيس التنفيذي لطيران الجزيرة مروان بودي أنه مع تسلم الشركة أول دفعات هذا الطراز من الطائرات، فإنها ستصبح أول شركة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط تستخدم هذا النوع المطور من إيرباص.وقدمت الشركة أثناء معرض لوبورجيه الفرنسي في يونيو/ حزيران الماضي طلبا لشراء 40 طائرة إيرباص أي320 تصل قيمتها إلى مليارات الدولارات.وتغطي طيران الجزيرة 25 خطا جويا مباشرا في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وتطلق رحلاتها من محطتين رئيسيتين هما الكويت ودبي.يذكر أن الشركة تأسست في مايو/ أيار الماضي برأس مال بلغ 34 مليون دولار، وهي أول ناقلة جوية في الشرق الأوسط للقطاع الخاص وغير مملوكة أو تابعة لجهة حكومية.المصدر: يو بي آي
